Any user with administrator role can manage users for an instrument or disconnect
an instrument from InstrumentConnect.
If an administrator...
The software...
Assigns Admin role to a user Allows the user to perform all administrator functions (see
“Instrument administrator functions“ on page 52).
Removes a user
Unlinks the instrument from their Thermo Fisher Connect
account.
Disconnects the instrument
• Unlinks the instrument from all user Thermo Fisher
Connect accounts.
• Removes the instrument from InstrumentConnect.

Sign in to thermofisher.com/cloud.
2.
Click Connect Your Lab, then click
to access InstrumentConnect.
3.
Select the instrument.
Note:
The Manage users and other administrator functions are not enabled until
you select an instrument.

To assign the Admin role to a user or to remove a user, click Manage users,
then perform the following tasks as needed.
