4.1 Key functions
5. Power supply
Use only a power supply, which meets the specifications of this device (DC 12V /
3A). Pay attention to the correct polarity of the contacts. Please also bear in mind
that the maximum charging current depends on the capacity of the power supply.
6. Setting up
Take the device out of the package and remove all the packaging material. Plug the
supplied power adapter to a properly installed power socket and to the battery
charger. You can then insert the desired type of battery into the charger.
Caution!
Charge only rechargeable batteries. Please do not use non-rechargeable
batteries!
Various data such as the actual voltage and the charging status is shown in the
display as soon as a battery is inserted. The actual charging current is shown at the
bottom of the display. This can be adjusted between 500mA and 2000mA. Press
and hold the "MODE" button to configure the current until the selection arrow
starts to flash over the current. Then, you can adjust the current by briefly pressing
the "MODE" button. The corresponding current is enabled once the arrow stops
flashing.
