QuantumX Owner's Manual

WARNING: All memory of nitrogen and oxygen loading is erased when the 
battery is removed. If you change the batteries between dives, you must 
wait 24 hours before diving again. Otherwise, you may increase the risk of 
decompression sickness.

Battery Removal and Replacement

Note: Replace the battery in a dry, clean environment, taking extreme care to prevent 
moisture and dust from entering into the battery compartment.

1. 

Using a coin (never use a 
screwdriver), turn the battery 
hatch counter clockwise and 
remove it from the case.

2. 

Using your fingers, remove 
the O-ring from the battery 
hatch and discard. Do not 
use any tools to remove the 
O-ring.
