Connecting Wires to the RF Module
Connect Wires to the Display Unit
Connect the power cable to “24 VDC” terminal strip on the right hand side of the display unit. Connect the
white wire from the power cable to the terminal marked “+”. Connect the black wire to the terminal marked
“-”. Connect GND (shield) wire to the terminal marked “Earth”. Connect RS485 communication cable to
“RS485” out terminal strip on the bottom right hand side of the display unit. Connect the white wire from
RS485 cable to the terminal marked “A”. Connect the black wire to terminal marked “B”. Connect GND
(shield) wire to the terminal marked “SH”.
The RF module that is connected to the Network Master either directly or in the daisy chain is considered
the “Server”, so dip switch 6 on the left bank should be ON. All RF modules are setup as “Client” out of the
box. This default setup has dip switch 6 on the left bank in the OFF position and is used for the remote bins.
