Time Shift operation was shown as below:

Definition
• 12:20:50 Present the video time (play point). Synchronized to Timer icon.
• 12:32:40 Present the live time (record point). Synchronized to Orange bar.
• 13:00:00 Present the predict time. The point all buffer is just occupied.
• If the predict time is crossed day line to start time. A “+” will be added to tail. See below case.

Note:
The operation Fast-forward/Rewind will only be available in the Orange bar.
In usually 4G memory buffers will offer 180 minutes for 480i contents and 30 minutes for 1080i contents.
The buffer size will be limited in 4G no matter how large sizes USB disk do you use.

When the memory buffer is running out, the recording will not be stopped. Mean while the video content before start time would be
replaced.
Limitation:
•
1. When Time Shift feature take action, only play/pause/fast-forward/rewind/volume/mute hot key and some basic operation key (OK/Exit/
Move) can work. Any unavailable key pressed, the following dialog will display.

2. The video might get judder or unsmooth when USB recording speed is under requirement (some FHD format).
3. The video might get some limited mosaic when Video bit rate is too low (some Music channel).
4. Do not unplug USB or switch off DC/AC power during Time Shift.
5. Do not remove signal during Time Shift. It will abort the process once the signal lost.
6. No quickly operation between play/pause/fast-forward/rewind.
7. No CC (Closed Captions) setting when Time Shift is in process. CC must be set before Time Shift engaged.
8. Sleep timer will be terminated if set before Time Shift.
9. Time Shift will not take action if the channel is scramble or audio only.
10. Only 5 predefined USB drive recommend. For other 4G or 8G high speed USB drive could be useful, but this is not guaranteed.
11. This feature is not available for all TV programs. It is depended on program’s situation.
