Firmware update mode (bootloader). To update the Device firmware, use
a firmware update mode. Update is performed only from a USB-Flash drive. To enter
the update mode, insert the Flash drive with the firmware file located in the root and
reboot the Device by selecting the
Reboot
menu item (see Figure 25).
2.7
Operation
2.7.1
In case of restoration works on cable lines and subsequent testing of cable
with high-voltage equipment (for example, AII-70 test equipment, or AID-70, or IVK-5):

It is NOT necessary to remove the current sensors from the cable when conducting
high voltage DC cable tests up to 35 kV;
-
It is NOT necessary to disconnect the Device to check the insulation of cables when
testing cables with overvoltage.
2.7.2
The Device does not require periodic verification and calibration over its
entire service life.
2.7.3
With double cable entry into the cell, it is recommended to install 2 sets of
Devices for precise fault detection.
2.8
Storage
2.8.1
Storage conditions of the Device in the manufacturer's packaging in terms of
climatic factors must correspond to conditions 2 of IEC 721-2-1, IEC 68-1.
2.8.2
Storage period up to commissioning does not exceed 1 year.
