Assembly for Outdoor Use

Due to the higher frequencies used by digital broadcasters, mounting an antenna outdoors will offer greater performance 

Line up circle and triangle on base to matching 

symbols on element. 

Insert Base C into element assembly B and turn to 

the left toward the picture as in Figure 7. 

Rotate base to tighten onto element.  DO NOT 

OVER TIGHTEN.

Center Groove

Attach the reflector (grid) to the antenna base by threading 

• 

the 4 1/2” bolt through the center of the column. Tighten.

Attach antenna to mast using u-clamp.  

• 

Attach coaxial cable to F connector. 

• 

DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN

Align center groove of base (Figure 5) with 

• 

the aluminum bar on the reflector (Figure 6).

Helpful Tips:

• 

If your cable run is greater than 75’, A pre-amplifier may be required.

• 

UHF signals are line of sight. Get as much elevation as practical.

• 

Attic Installations will cut 40% -50% of your signal strength.

• 

KEEP ANTENNA AWAY FROM POWER LINES
