SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• Only intended for outdoor use.
• The lamp must only be installed by an
authorised electrician.
• The lamp is only intended to be used
outdoors.
• The outdoor lamp must be mounted on a
fireproof surface and as a fixed lamp. It is
not intended to be used as a portable
lamp.
• Make sure that no one is underneath the
lamp when installing it.
• The lamp must only be used in complete
condition, with the lamp glass in place.
• The lamp can get very hot when in use.
Make sure that it is not possible to touch
the lamp housing by mistake and that the
lamp has cooled before touching it.
• Before using the outdoor lamp for the first
time have it checked by an electrician.
• Disconnect the lamp from the mains supply
before repairing or maintenance.
• The light source cannot be replaced. If it
stops working, the entire lamp must be
discarded.
• The lamp must be installed by an
authorised electrician.
• To avoid accidents in public places take
local regulations and safety instructions/
warnings into consideration.
• Only use an approved cable to connect the
outdoor lamp to the mains. The external
cable must as a minimum comply with the
requirements for cable type H05RN-F in
terms of its mechanical and electrical
properties and the wires must have a
cross-sectional area of at least 1.0 mm².
