Positioning the Active Cursor
To position the active cursor:
1.
Select the desired cursor (see “Setting the Active
Cursor” on page 4-31 for details).
2.
Toggle
Display From
(
F3
) to the desired mode,
Display From B
or
Display From A
, depending on
the cursor selected in step 1.
3.
Use the
Left
and
Right Arrow keys
to position the
active cursor to the desired location. Each keypress
move the cursor one pixel in the selected direction
or hold down the desired arrow key to scroll the
cursor.
It may be necessary to zoom in on the trace for
accurate positioning of the cursors. See “Zoom
In/Zoom Out” below, for details.
Zoom In/Zoom Out
Use the Zoom function to help make precise cursor
placements or for closer examination of a portion of the trace
waveform.
To zoom in:
1.
Place the desired cursor (A or B) at the approximate
position.
2.
Toggle
Display From
(
F3
) to the desired mode,
Display From B
or
Display From A
, depending on
the cursor selected in step 1.
3.
Set
F2
to “
Zoom
”.
4.
Press the
Up Arrow key
. Each key press decreases
the dB/division value of the vertical axis (Y-axis) by
a factor of two.
