(3) Procedure
1. Connect the coaxial terminator to the PPG1 Data Out
connector. (Refer to Figure 9.1.3-1.)
2. Connect the Sync Output connector and the trigger input
connector of the sampling oscilloscope using a coaxial cable.
3. Connect the PPG1 Data Out connector and the input connector
of the sampling oscilloscope using a coaxial cable.
4. Touch [PPG/ED Ch1].
5. Connect Sync Output to [PPG1_1/4 Clk].
6. Set Reference Clock to [Internal].
7. Select [Variable] at Bit Rate and input 11320000 kbit/s.
Input 12500000 kbit/s if the Option 092 is added.
8. Set External Attenuation to 0 dB.
9. Set Test Pattern to [PRBS 2^31–1].
10. Set Data/XData to [On].
11. Set Amplitude to 0.1 Vp-p.
12. Measure the amplitude on the sampling oscilloscope.
13. Set Amplitude to 0.8 Vp-p.
14. Measure the amplitude, rise/fall time, and Data Crossing on the
sampling oscilloscope.
15. Set Amplitude to 0.4 Vp-p.
16. Select [Variable] for Bit Rate, and input 10312500 kbit/s.
17. Measure the Jitter (RMS) on the sampling oscilloscope.
18. Connect the coaxial terminator to the PPG1 Data Out connector.
