3.
Locate the three cross braces and arrange them as shown
with the outside chamfered edge oriented downward.
Slide the three pieces together so they interlock and
screw them together using two #9 x 2 1/2” Torx screws
and one #9 x 3” Torx screw into the predrilled pilot holes
in each unit. Hold the cross braces flat to the work surface
when driving the screws to assure the assembly is flat and
snug.
Note: Make sure the angled end of each cross brace is
oriented downward.
4.
Place the tabletop upside down on the padded work area and place the cross brace
assembly
on the tabletop assembly. Orient the cross
brace so the arms of the cross brace match up with the arms on the tabletop frame.
Note: Make sure the angled end of the cross brace is oriented downward.
5.
Place the table legs through the cross brace
assembly slots, into the corresponding slot in the
tabletop frame. Attach the legs to the tabletop
using a 3/8” x 5” carriage bolt inserted through
the predrilled holes and into the table leg and the
tabletop frame. Place a 3/8” flat washer and 3/8”
hex nut on the end of each of the carriage bolts.
Use the hammer to set the carriage bolt and
expose the threads before adding the washers and
nut.
Note: Leave the nut finger tight so the legs can be
adjusted in Step 5.
