• Make sure the motor is on a level surface.

Twist and remove the oil cap and wipe the cleat with a clean cloth

Put the cleat back into the hole without turning the cap.

• If the oil level is below the mark designated as low level, fill with oil up to the

 

high level indicated by the gauge.

• Turn and close the oil plug.

Low speed gear oil (only for optional function) (Self-centrifugal clutch, 1/2 speed)

Remove the oil filter cap and clean the dipstick.

Reinsert the dipstick into the oil fill hole without turning it.

If the oil level is low and needs to be refilled, be sure to use the recommended oil.

Engine oil alert system (optional function)

The oil alert system is designed to prevent damage caused by insufficient oil in 

the crankshaft. When the oil level in the crankshaft drops below a safe level, the 

alert system will automatically stop the engine even if the switch is in the on 

position. If the engine dies and you cannot restart it, check the oil level before 

checking for other possible causes.
