3. Check the condition of the blades, make sure that the blades are not excessively worn
and that the steering wheel is not blocked.
4. Check that the tank has enough hydraulic oil #46 (about 2/3 of the volume).
5. Make sure the feed rate switch is in the "0" position.
6. Make sure the feed function handle is in the "STOP" position.
7. Check the condition of the bolts if they are all tight.
8. Check that the safety switch is running.
Start up
1. Please place your wood chipper on a flat and dry ground, make sure the machine cannot
be moved.
2. Make sure the fuel shutoff valve is in the "ON" position.
3. Move the choke control lever to the “THROTTLE” (should only be necessary if the engine
is cold).
4. Move the throttle control lever to the "FAST" position.
5. Recoil Starting: Turn the ignition switch to the "On" position. Grasp the recoil starter
handle and pull slowly until resistance is felt. Let the cable retract a little, then pull the
cable quickly to start the engine. Normally one or two pulls start the motor.
6. Electric Start: Turn and hold the key in the start position until the engine starts, then let
the key return to the run position.
7. Move the choke control lever (if used for cold engine) slowly back to the “RUN” position
when the engine is running smoothly.
8. If the wood chipper has not been running (cold engine), warm up the engine by running
the engine at half throttle for 3 to 4 minutes, then advance the engine throttle control to
full speed.
9. Set the feed function handle to the "Forward" position.
10. Adjust the feed speed bar to the proper speed.
Stop
1. Adjust the feed speed bar to the "0" position.
2. Set the feed function handle to the "STOP" position.
3. Move the throttle lever to
slow motion.
4. Recoil Starting: Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
5. Electric Start: Turn the key to the OFF position.
