Before first use 

Before first use, it is recommended to operate the kettle for 

2  or  3  times  following  the  instructions  below,  this  will 

remove  any  dust  or  residues  remaining  from  the 

manufacturing process. 

· 

Remove kettle from the power base before filling. 

· 

To  fill  the  kettle,  open  the  top  lid  by  pulling  on  the  lid 

handle, then fill the kettle with cold water (note: the water 

level  must  be  between  the  minimum  mark,  0.5L  and 

maximum  mark,

 

1.7L).  Close  the  lid  by  pushing  it  down 

until it clicks into place.  

· 

Connect the power supply cord plug into a mains power 

outlet socket. Press down on the ON/OFF switch, and the 

power indicator will light up.  

· 

When the water has boiled, the kettle will automatically 

switch itself OFF. You can stop the boiling process at any 

time by lifting the ON/OFF switch. The power indicator light 

will go out.  

 

 

 

 

 

Cleaning 

· 

First read the instructions in the section titled  

“IMPO RTANT INSTRUCTIONS”. 

· 

Always disconnect the kettle from the mains power outlet 

socket before cleaning. 

·

 Before cleaning make sure the kettle is cool to touch. 

· 

Empty the kettle. Clean the exterior surface of the kettle 

with  a clean,  damp  cloth to  preserve its original polished 

finish. Dry and polish with a soft cloth. 

·

 Do not use abrasive cleansers or scouring agents/pads 

of any kind inside or on the exterior of the kettle. 

· 

Open the lid, lift out the filter, rinse the filter under warm 

water and brush off any impurities. 

· 

Refit the filter and lid in reverse order. 

· 

Only use a dry cloth to wipe the base of the kettle.  

· 

Avoid wetting the electrical parts. 

· 

Do not immerse the kettle or power base in water or other 

liquid, and make sure the electrical parts are kept dry.
