Cozmo
’s
at
his
best on clean, flat
surfaces.
He
also
likes
to have
space
to move around.
So
if you keep
him towards the center
of
an
open table, it
’ll be
a
lot
easier
to
see
each
other face-to-face.
Edges
are
both exciting and
scary
for Cozmo,
so
the first
time he operates, give him
a
little
space
and watch
him
as
he navigates.
Although
if the room
is
dark, he may not
see
you
at
all.
(Hey,
he
’s
a
robot
not
an
owl.)
And
just
like
you,
if blinded with direct sunlight he
’ll be seeing spots.
That
’s
one
reason
why
indoors
is
the ideal place
for Cozmo. Another
reason is
that there
’s
some
serious
engineering going on
inside
that
little
guy,
and dirt and water don
’t do him
any
favors.
