Opening the Safe for the first time
To open the safe door for the first time, push on the middle of the override keyhole cover to slide it off. Then locate the
keyhole to insert the override key and turn it anti-clockwise. At the same time, turn the knob clockwise and open the
safe door.
Installing the batteries
The safe requires 4 x size AA (1.5V) batteries. Use of alkaline batteries is recommended. To install the batteries, remove
the battery cover plate
and insert four batteries making sure polarity ( and ) is correct.

Changing the batteries
If the red light is on, change the batteries immediately. Make sure that the batteries are installed correctly.
Please have a test before you close the safe door. Note: Do not use new or old batteries together.
Installing the safe
It is recommended removing the shelf before installing the safe. To reduce the risk of theft, the safe must be affixed
to the floor or wall. For your convenience, there are holes in the bottom and on the back, bolts are included for use in
solid masonry wall. Place the safe on a solid and secure surface and
