3.2
Tracking adjustment
The tracking adjustment can be done directly on the camera or by using a projector.
On a camera:
-
At long focal length, align the center cross of the view finder with an object
-
Without moving the camera, zoom to wide angle
-
Align the object with the view finder cross by adjusting the 4 screws (7) with a 0.9mm
Hex screw driver
On a projector:
-
Put the lens on a projector with a PL mount interface
-
Put the projector at approximately 1.2m (4ft) from the screen
-
Measure the tracking of the center of the image T from long focal length to wide angle
-
If necessary adjust the tracking by moving the neutral mount with the 4 screws (7)
