If the appliance has fallen in
water do not reach for it,

switch
the
appliance off at the mains and
unplug it.

Young persons should be
supervised to ensure they do
not play with the appliance.

Do not run the cord under
carpeting, throw rugs or
runners.

Do not use the appliance with
an external timer, programmer
or any other device that
switches
the
heater
on
automatically.

In order to avoid a hazard due
to inadvertently re

setting the
thermal cut
-
out, the appliance
must not be supplied through
an external switching device,
such as a timer or if the
appliance has connected to a
circuit
that
is
regularly
switched on and off by the
utility.
•
For additional protection, the
use of a Residual Current
Device (RCD) with a tripping
current not exceeding 30mA is
recommended.
Remote control
The remote control supplied with
the heater requires a “CR2032” 3
-
volt lithium battery.
To replace the battery:
1.
Turn the remote control over so
that the buttons face the floor.
2.
Pull out the tray of the appliance
where the battery is stored.
3.
Take out the used “CR2032” 3
-
volt battery and place the new
battery in the tray with the posi-
tive side facing upwards.
4.
Fit the tray correctly back in the
remote control.
Operating the remote control
•
Remove the plastic spacer be-
tween the battery and the termi-
nal.
•
Aim the remote control directly at
the display of the heater.
•
Do not put any objects between
the remote control and the heater
while the appliance is operating.
•
Operate the remote control with-
in a 3 meter range of the appli-
ance.
Note:
•
Always keep batteries out of the
way of children.
•
Remove batteries from the re-
mote control if the appliance is
going to be stored or not fre-
quently used.
•
Batteries contain chemical sub-
stances and therefore should be
