not be disposed of together with ordinary

Separate  collection  of  used  products,
batteries  and  packaging  allows  the
recovery and recycling of materials. Re-use
of materials helps prevent  environ-mental
pollution and reduces the demand for raw
materials.

Local  authorities,  retailers  and  collection
organisations  may  provide  for  separate
collection of  elec-trical products, batteries
and packaging.
