Troubleshooting
The following chapter describes possible errors of the qTOWER
3
84. There are some
error correction measures that can be performed by the customer. These are listed in
the following chapter. All maintenance work and repairs beyond this scope must only be
performed by Analytik Jena AG customer service personnel or by persons authorized by
Analytik Jena AG. Any unauthorized interference limits warranty entitlements.
To prevent secondary damage, inform the Analytik Jena AG customer service immedi-
ately if the device exhibits any errors or defects.
If an error occurs, the qPCRsoft384 program outputs error codes that can be allocated
to the following malfunctions:

The following errors can be fixed by the customer:

Insert samples properly
(see section 7.3 p. 30)

Check that the sample are inserted correctly
Close the lid, make sure it clicks into place

USB not available
Replace USB cable
Switch to a different USB port on the PC
