To attach cables to a module:

1.

Fasten the locking S-Video plugs from the source and destination devices onto 
the S-Video connectors (FIG. 4 previous page). 

2.

Plug the power cord into the power jack on the module and the power source 
(FIG. 5).

3.

Apply power to the source and destination devices.

To attach cables to an AF-10:

1.

Fasten the locking S-Video plugs from the source and destination devices onto 
the S-Video connectors (FIG. 4 previous page). 

2.

Plug the power cord into the power jack on the rear of the AF-10 and the power 
source.

3.

Turn on power source.
The Power Indicator on the front of the AF-10 illuminates.

S-Video Board Placement

Note: For instructions on installing additional boards, see the AF-10 
Quick Start Guide.

1:4 boards only – may be placed in AF-10 in any available slot

1:4 and 5-out boards – place in AF-10 in alternating board slots 

according to the pattern below

To place S-Video 1:4 & 5-out boards in an AF-10:

Install the 1:4 board in an even numbered board slot (counting from left to right). 
Install the 5-out board in the adjoining slot to the left of the 1:4 board. The input on 
the 1:4 board will then route signals to its own four outputs plus the five outputs on 
the 5-out board for a total of nine outputs.
