Operating Information 

Wireless Wide Area Network (Option)   

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Wireless Wide Area Network (WWAN) is an optional module for your handheld computer. 

With pre-installed embedded antenna and the optional 3.5G WWAN module, your handheld 

computer will be able to engage in WWAN functions. To activate your WWAN function, 

please follow the illustrations below: 

 

1.  Activate the Device Power Manager 

After activating the Device Power Manager, press the WWAN button to enable WWAN 

functions. 

 

 

 

2.  Establish Wireless WAN connections 

You can access the Wireless WAN connection setup menu via Start => Settings => 

Network and Dial-up Connections  => GPRS. Input the necessary WAN information, 

such as user name and password, number to dial, and connect to gain access.  The 

following figures show GPRS icon and the input information window. 

 

 

 

Press the “WWAN” button once to 
enable your device’s Wireless WAN 
functions  (press the button  again 
to disable).
