Center Channel Speaker:
Place the center speaker directly above or below the video display at about same
level as the Front Channel speakers and approximately in line with them.
Optimum speaker positioning depends on your listening space. The size and height of the
room, its arrangement and furnishings can all influence sound quality. You may want to
experiment with various speaker positioning arrangements and angles to see what
produces the best results for your location.
The basic guidelines are that the front speakers should be set at a lower level and in line
with the video display, the center speaker should be set directly above or below the
display and the rear speakers should be set higher up on the sides.
Please Note
: Front/Rear Left is to the left when looking at the video display and
Front/Rear Right is to the right of the display.
Test Your Speaker Connection
To make sure that the front, center and rear speakers are correctly connected, you can
use the demo program to test individual speaker output. Move the cursor to whichever
speaker you want to test and left-click the mouse. If the setup is correct, you will hear
music coming from that speaker alone. The music for each output is different to make it
easier to distinguish.
