h.  Change your setting from

Obtain an IP Address Automatically

 to

Use the Following IP

Address.

In the subnet range of 169.254.xxx.xxx, you must increment the last octet(3 digits)

by 1 from what is displayed in the LCD screen of the controller; no gateway or DNS needed.

i.  Hit OK on the next two screens to complete the change.
j.  Connect to nrgSMART Controller via a browser by typing its IP address of 169.254.xxx.xxx

Note: Chrome and Firefox are recommended.

k.  The Configuration webpage will be displayed

3.  The controller can be operated in the following modes simultaneously:

HTML User Interface Mode:

The controller will present data from all panel sensors within the panel itself, and from any

nrgSMART SENS panels that are connected to it over the nrgNET serial interface.

  Summary data from the Controller

can be viewed from the controller’s front LCD screen.  It will

scroll through the following parameters.  (If additional nrgSMART SENS panels are connected to
the controller, their data will not be shown on the display, other than the “number of active panels”
this will reflect how many panels are being monitored by the controller.).

The Integrated Controller will indicate alarms by flashing between white and black backgrounds.

When in alarm, a bell symbol will be displayed next to the Integrated Controller Name.  If the alarm
is from the Integrated Panel, a bell will also be displayed next to the value in alarm.  For example, if
Temperature 1 of the Controller Panel is in alarm, there will be a bell symbol next to the "Temp 1"
on the display.

Note that if an interconnected nrgSMART SENS panel is in alarm, the Controller display will flash,

however, the Controller will not indicate which interconnected nrgSMART SENS panel is in alarm.
You will need to check the front panel LEDs of the interconnected SENS panels (locally), or connect
to the Controller’s HTML User Interface, or your NMS system, to determine which panel is in alarm,
and what the specific alarm condition is.

SNMP Mode:

The LAN port must be connected and configured to operate on the same subnet as the customer

defined Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP)/ Network Management Server (NMS)
server address.
