Residual heat indicator
When you have finished cooking,
the induction hob glass within the
cooking zone is still hot, this is
called residual heat.
If the glass surface is hot,
the residual heat symbol
is shown on the cooking
zone display.
When residual heat indica
tor is on, do not touch the
cooking zone as there is
a risk of burns and do not
place on it any items sensi
tive to heat!
The residual heat indica
tor is not displayed during
a power outage. However,
cooking zones may still be
hot!
Before using the appliance
for the first time
•
Thoroughly clean the induction
hob. The hob has a glass sur-
face, therefore handle it with
care.

Odours may be released when
you first start your appliance. If
this happens, turn on exhaust
hood or open the window in the
room. Emission of odour is tem-
porary.
If the appliance does not de
tect the cookware on the op
erating cooking zone
If there is no cookware on the ac-
tive cooking zone or the cookware
is unsuitable, the cooking zone will
turn off after 1 minute.
Use a cooking zone
Place the cookware on the desired
cooking zone Touch and the
indicator will be on Turn on the se-
lected cooking zone by turning the
knob to the desired heat setting,
the indicator will light up and the
appliance will be on.
Note:
You can place the cookware on the
cooking zone at any time, also be-
fore selecting a heat setting for the
cooking zone.
If you do not select a heat setting
within 1 minute, the appliance will
turn off automatically.
Turn off a cooking zone
To turn off a cooking zone, set the
knob to 0. To turn off all the cook-
ing zones at once, touch and the
appliance will turn off completely.
Note: One the appliance is turned
off by touching the sensor, set all
the knobs to 0. This is required. If
any knobs are at a setting other
than 0, the appliance will not work
when turned on.
Cooking zone auto off
The cooking zone will turn off au-
tomatically after a specified time
has elapsed, which depends on its
heat setting. This is a safety fea-
ture that cannot be disabled.
