INSTALL THE DRYER
II. Before you use the appliance
The first step:
Power source and grounding.
The dryer is powered by alternating current of rated voltage and frequency. When the volt-
age fluctuates between 6% of rated voltage, the dryer can operate normally. For conveni
-
ence and safety connect the dryer to a dedicated wall power socket beside the dryer. The
figure below shows the connection method.
To ensure safety, please make modifications and improvements as soon as possible ac
-
cording to the rules and suggestions mentioned above.
Notices:
To prevent incorrect installation or use of the socket and to guarantee the safe use of
electricity, the socket and the grounding wire must be installed by an electrician. The dryer
power wire of employs Y connection. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by
the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
Never connect the grounding wire with the neutral wire, otherwise the body of the appli-
ance will be charged, which is likely to cause the danger of electric shock.
