Defrosting the fridge
The fridge should not require defrosting in normal operation. Any
water from the back wall of the fridge gathers in a channel at the
rear of the appliance, drains through a drain hole and collects in the
evaporating tray above the compressor. The evaporating tray (at the
rear of the appliance, above the compressor - Fig. 5) and the drain
hole (Fig. 4) should be cleaned periodically to prevent issues.
Please note:
If you notice water pooling in the fridge, and the
evaporating tray is dry, it is likely that the drain hole passage is
blocked.
