System Operation: Unload Wheelchair / Occupant

• Open rear door and unfold ramp.

• Unhook occupant securement system. Store it away.

• Unhook rear retractors or belts. Store 

them

 away.

Release wheelchair brakes. Place yourself behind the wheelchair. Holding it firmly,

press & hold “A” on the remote control. Guide chair safely out of vehicle.

• Apply wheelchair brakes.

• Remove webbing from wheelchair.

• Hold webbing press & hold “B” on the remote control. Make sure webbing is fully

retracted into base or until magnets reach home position.

IMPORTANT:

• Always make sure Easy Pull belts are fully retracted inside the housing when not in

use.

 

This requires placing magnets at home position, which is touching the base 

(

or

approximately 3 cm / 1 3/16” away).

• If Easy Pull belts are left outside the housing, the unit will generate a steady beep

and

 

lights will flash.

To Stop Beeping

• Hold both sides of the webbing.

Pull on both EasyPull belts to place them under tension

. Press & hold “A”

 release

, and

 

then press & hold “B” on the remote

 

control. At this time the unit will lock and reset itself

 

and the beep will stop.

• Make sure the magnets are at home position by pressing & holding “A” on the remote

 

control.

• To prevent warning beep, always leave webbing fully retracted into the EasyPull housing

 

system with both magnets at the home position (approximately 3 cm / 1 3/16” away

 

from

 

the EasyPull housing unit

)

 while not in use. This will also protect the webbing from

 

dirt,

 

water or any damage, etc.
