TROUBLESHOOTING
A.
If the vehicle does not work:
1)
Make sure the remote control and vehicle are switched on, the batteries in the remote control are new and the vehicle
battery is charged.
2)
Check if any parts/cables/plugs are damaged. Repair or replace them if necessary.
3)
The vehicle battery is empty. Charge it.
B.
If the vehicle is driving slowly:
1)
The vehicle battery is empty. Charge it.
2)
Check if the gears are dirty or worn. Clean or replace them.
3)
Check if the backlash between the motor pinion and the main gear is set correctly. (A paper thickness is optimal)
4)
Check whether any moving parts are blocked.
C.
If throttle/brake works but steering does not:
1)
Check if the servo is stuck.
2)
Check if the servo linkage is loose or if the servo is defective. If possible, repair or replace.
D.
If the vehicle steers but does not accept throttle:
1)
Check the entire driveline for damage.
2)
Check the batteries in the remote control and the vehicle battery.
3)
Check the motor. Replace if necessary.
E.
If the vehicle is louder than normal
1)
Check the backlash between the motor pinion and the main gear (One paper thickness is optimal).
2)
Check if the gears are dirty or worn.
3)
Check if any parts of the drive train are damaged.
F.
If the vehicle does not turn in both directions equally.
1)
If the wheels cannot be centred using the trim control, you can also adjust the neutral position manually. To do this, loosen
the servo horn and fix it so that the wheels are straight.
G.
If the battery cannot be charged
1)
If the battery is too deeply discharged because it has been used too long or because you forgot to disconnect it from the
controller, replace it.
2)
If the battery or the charger are damaged, replace them.
