Trigger-In & Trigger Out
Asterion DC Multioutput Series power supply has Trigger-In and Trigger-Out functionalities.
Trigger-In:
Channel 1:
Applying high voltage signal on pin 1 and return pin 8 will trigger the ramp for channel 1.
Channel 2:
Applying high voltage signal on pin 10 and return pin 17 will trigger the ramp for
channel 2.
Channel 3:
Applying high voltage signal on pin 19 and return pin 26 will trigger the ramp for
channel 3.
*NOTE: Data format <n> represents channel number (1, 2 & 3)

// reset the unit.
SOUR<n>:VOLT 20
// Set the voltage to 20V in respective channel
SOUR<n>:CURR 20
// Set the current to 20A in respective channel
OUTP<n>:STAT 1
// Turn on the output in respective channel
SOUR<n>:VOLT:RAMP:HTRIG 25 5
//Give an external trigger i.e., an active high pulse of
10ms on the pin-1 (TRIGGER_IN) and pin-8 (RTN) for channel 1, pin-
10 (TRIGGER_IN) and pin-17 (RTN) for channel 2 and pin-19
(TRIGGER_IN) and pin-26 (RTN) for channel 3 to generate the
Voltage Ramp on individual channels. This will ramp the voltage from
20V to 25V in 5 secs.
Low state 0.3 V max, High State 2.7 V min
Trigger-Out: Active low signal will be generated on pin 2 and return pin 8 for channel 1, pin
11 and return pin 17 for channel 2 and pin 20 and return pin 26 for channel 3 when a change
in the output occurs.

Remote Output On/Off Control
Remote output on/off control of each channel may be accomplished by contact closure of
individual channels, and through an opto-isolated interface with external DC voltage source
of 2.7V - 24V.
