4.2 Adjusting the LED without a Modbus Connection
1) Carefully replace the cover, ensuring that it doesn’t jam on any components
2) When the cover is close enough, refit the keyboard connector ribbon,
ensuring it is not offset by one pin.
DO NOT FASTEN THE COVER SCREWS AT THIS POINT.
3) Apply 24 V dc power to the red
and blue wires of Connector A.
4) Using the keyboard, use the
menu to display parameter 124.
5) VERY CAREFULLY remove the
red instrument cover, taking
care not to short-circuit any
components inside the Model
4500 MkIII.
6) Adjust potentiometer PR1 until
Register 124 has a maximum
value not exceeding 56000.
7) Remove 24 V dc power and
replace the instrument cover &
connector as before.
8) Apply 24 V dc power to the red
and blue wires of Connector A.
9) Using the keyboard, use the
menu to display parameter 122.
10) VERY CAREFULLY remove the
red instrument cover, taking
care not to short-circuit any
components inside the Model

11) Adjust potentiometer PR2 until
Registers 121 and 122 have a
maximum value, with neither
value exceeding 56000.
12) Remove 24 V dc power.
