WARNING
Minimum clearances between the water heater and
combustible construction are 0” at the sides and rear, 6”
at the front, and 6” from the vent pipe. Clearance from

movement in a room or other enclosed space, Flammable
Vapors can be carried some distance from where their
liquids are being used or stored.

installed in an area where all gas burning appliances in the
vicinity must be shut off, including their pilot lights, to avoid

could pull dirt into the burner from inside the combustion
chamber. A rumbling noise on ignition of main burner also
warns of screen blockage.
A water heater cannot operate properly without the correct
