5. Drill four pilot holes in the marked positions.
6. screw the four large screws (D) into the pilot holes. Leave the
screw heads about 64 mm (0.25 in) from the cabinet surface.

7. Lift the range hood (A) into position, feeding electrical wires
through the wiring opening. Position the range hood (A) so the
large ends (21) of the keyhole slots are over the large screws
(D).
8. Push the range hood (A) toward the wall so the large screws
(D) are in the small ends (20) of the keyhole mounting slots.

9. Tighten the large screws (D) to secure the range hood to the
cabinet.
WARNING:
Ensure that the range hood is securely
attached to the cabinet before releasing it.
10. Test the damper (B) to ensure it rotates up and down freely.
11. Connect the duct work to the range hood (A) and seal joints
with duct tape, ensuring an air tight fit.

WARNING:
Electrical wiring must be done by a qualified person
in accordance with all applicable electrical and building codes.
Failure to follow electrical requirements may result in a fire.
WARNING:
Turn off the power circuit breaker before wiring
this appliance.
REquIREMENT: 120V AC, 60Hz. 15 or 20 A Branch Circuit.
NOTE:
Wire sizes must conform to the requirements of the
National Electrical Code ANsI/NFPA 70 (latest edition) or CsA
standards C22.1-94, Canadian Electrical Code Part 1 and C22.2
No. 0-M91 (latest edition) and all local codes and ordinances.
1. The range hood should be connected directly to the junction (or
circuit breaker) box through flexible, armored or nonmetallic
sheathed copper cable. Allow some slack in the cable so the
appliance can be moved if servicing is ever necessary.
2. A uL listed or CsA approved conduit connector must be
provided at each end of the power supply cable (at the range
hood and at the junction box).
3. When making the electrical connection, cut a 32 mm (1.25 in.)
hole in the wall. A hole cut through wood must be sanded until
smooth. A hole through metal must have a grommet.
4. Connect the three wires to the house wires according to colour
(black to black, white to white, and yellow/green to yellow/
green).

5. Cap the three wires with the wire nuts (E). Wrap the wire nuts
with two wraps of certified PVC electrical tape to prevent the
wire nuts from coming loose.
