minute if there are no batteries installed or if the
installed battery is dead. If you are changing the
batteries after seeing a flashing BAT on the
display, the installed batteries may be dead. If
you remove the old batteries and install fresh
ones within one minute, you should not lose
your thermostat programming. After installing
new batteries, follow the procedures in CHECK
YOUR PROGRAMMING to determine whether
your programming was maintained. If the ther-
mostat maintains programming, press
SYSTEM
SWITCH
until OFF is displayed, put the thermostat back
on the wall, press
SYSTEM
SWITCH
to select the operat-
ing mode you want, then press
RUN
PRGM
to start
program operation. If the program is lost, repro-
gram the thermostat. Please refer to the section
PROGRAMMING YOUR THERMOSTAT.
15. The Red Em.Ht. lamp is dimly lit and the
thermostat is not calling for HEAT, is this
normal?
Yes, this is normal. The Red EM. HT. lamp may
appear dimly lit without a call for HEAT.
