Video Recorder Control

Recorder control hardware and the corresponding utility
software enable an AD1024 system user to control
video recorders at both local and remote sites.
Operators control the video recorders via the AD2088
keyboard, substituting simple keyboard commands in
place of infrared remote control.
Systems developed after AD1024 will also support
recorder control. Particular systems developed before
AD1024 can support recorder control with appropriate
upgrade equipment (see the table on page 8 for details).
The AD Recorder/Controller interface is available for
both 120 VAC and 230 VAC applications.

The 230 VAC transformer is equipped with a Euro-
style IEC 320 type inlet. A suitable, detachable cord
should be connected between the IEC 320 inlet and
power source. The cord should conform to all national
and local code requirements.
