Features & Functions

1. Power Switch - Powers the WiFly D6 Branch on/off.
2. Power Source - Connect the AC power cord to this input.
3. Antenna - Receives and transmits the DMX signal.
4. Radio Receiver Indicator LED - This Green LED indicates the unit is receiving wireless signal.
5. DMX Transmitter Indicator LED - This Yellow LED indicates that a wireless signal is being transmit-

ted.
6. Dipswitches - Use these dipswitches to set the units WiFly channel.
7. 3 Pin DMX In - Input the DMX Signal via 3 pin cable.
8. 6 Groups 3 Pin DMX Out - Output the DMX signal from the 3 pin cable

Setting Up the WiFly D6 Branch:

1.  Power on the WiFly D6 Branch.

2.   When using the WiFly D6 Branch as a transmitter connect the WiFly D6 Branch to a DMX512    

    controller via XLR cable. The yellow Transmitting LED indicator will light up.

3.  After the LED indicator lights up, use the dipswitches to set the WiFly channel. The channel can   

    be set between 0-15.

4.   With WiFly 6 Branch connected to a DMX Controller, you can use the WiFly D6 Branch to trans-   

    mit a WiFly signal to other WiFly D6 Branch units making those units receivers.

5.   The receiving WiFly D6 Branch units must be set to the same channel frequency as the transmit-  

    ting WiFly D6 Branch. If the WiFly D6 Branch (receivers) are set up correctly, and receiving a  

 

    WiFly signal, the green receiver LED indicator will glow.
