B.5.4 LOCKING DEVICES FOR STABILIZER EXTENSIONS
FOR ALL CRANE VERSIONS
On both sides of the base an automatic lock is installed.
Its purpose is to lock automatically the stabilizer extension in its fully closed position. To release the
extension and pull it out, it’s necessary to pull the automatic lock and pull out the extension with the
correspondent control. To make this operation easier, a support was designed to keep raised the
automatic lock and so allows to extend the outriggers.
FOR CRANES WITH MANUALLY OPERATED STABILIZER EXTENSIONS
On both sides of the base two locking devices are installed: an automatic lock and a semi-automatic
locking device with lever.
The purpose of the locking device with lever is to lock the stabilizer extension in its fully retracted
and fully extended, when engaged.
The following sign means that you have to turn the lever downwards in order to disengage the
locking device.
Failure to lock the stabilizer extensions correctly when transporting the machine may cause
damage to property and injury to people.
