5.2.4 UTx-M Menu System
– Password Entry
To access the service menu system, the user needs to press and hold the
ENTER
button until
the following password entry screen is displayed.
Enter the password using a combination of the
UP
,
DOWN
and
ENTER
buttons. The password
is factory set to
UP

DOWN
-
UP
-
DOWN
-
ENTER
–
ENTER
. As the password is being
entered, the display updates with each button press. The diagram below illustrates the state of
the password entry after 3 button presses. The password entry screen will timeout after 10
seconds if no button is pressed thereby returning the user back to the main info screen.

– Main Service Menu
Once the correct password is entered, the main service menu is displayed as shown in the
following diagram.

buttons can be used to navigate the list of service menus. The
