Get to know your 5-Day / 7-Day Forecaster
Receiving your first update
Your Forecaster operates on AC power using the included adapter. The Forecaster
can also run on 4 AA batteries (not included). When running on battery power,
the backlight function of the Forecaster is unavailable.
If you’re using AC power, simply plug your Forecaster into the wall. To use battery
power, open the BATTERY COMPARTMENT COVER and insert four AA batteries
(not included). Confirm that the batteries’ (+) and (–) indicators are properly
aligned inside the compartment. While the unit is plugged in, the batteries will
be used for backup only.
