Display console contrast is weak 

Replace console batteries with a fresh set of batteries. 

Temperature or humidity is inaccurate 

Use the humidity and temperature calibration to match 
your calibration source. 

Temperature, Heat Index appear to read 
high 

Since heat index values were devised for shady 
conditions, exposure to full sunshine can increase heat 
index values by up to 15°F. Make sure you take your 
readings in a shaded area if possible.
