Power Sources 

The WR-199 battery can be powered from the following sources: 

 

DC power from a USB power source, such as a computer 

 

AC power by adding a USB to AC adaptor (optional) 

 

DC car charger by adding a USB to DC car adaptor or external 5V solar panel (optional) 

 

Solar power 

 

Hand crank power

Battery Sources 

There are two battery sources: 

1.

 

Rechargeable LiIon battery, which is the primary source of energy 

2.

 

3 x AAA (non rechargeable) batteries, which are the back up source of energy.

LiIon Battery 

Insert the rechargeable battery into the battery compartment, as shown in Figure 4. Replace the battery 
cover.
