To disassemble, remove the splash guard, then the cone, then the feed chute.
10.
Please see helpful hints for additional information regarding use.

NOTE: The slicer should not run for more than 30 seconds continuously. After 30
seconds, allow 1-2 minutes to cool down. If it overheats it will cut out
automatically and reset when sufficiently cool.
12.
CAUTION: If the slicer stops during continuous shredding or slicing, an ingredient
may be stuck or overloaded within mechanism or cone. Unplug the appliance,
take the cone and the feed chute off the motor base and free the food from each
piece. Return the feed chute and then cone to the motor unit and continue.
Helpful hints
All food slices and shreds better when it is fresh and firm. If ingredients are
too soft, they will clump together and accumulate in and around the cone. If
the ingredients are too hard, the slicer and cones may be damaged.
Semi-soft cheeses should be refrigerated overnight or put in the freezer for at
least 30 minutes before shredding. Hard cheeses should be at room
temperature. All unprocessed cheeses can be shredded successfully with this
unit. It is not recommended that you use soft or processed cheese as it may
clog the slicer.
Use lighter pressure on the food pusher for thinner slices and shreds, and
firmer pressure for thicker slices and shreds.
Fruits such as strawberries and kiwi should be firm, not overripe to slice.
These fruits can also be put in the freezer for a fruit minutes before slicing.
Certain fruits with a tougher skin, such as apples, should be peeled before
slicing or shredding.
Remove skin from thick skinned fruits, such as melon and pineapple.
Remove stones from cherries, peaches, nectarines, apples, etc.
Some foods can be double processed, for example you can shred carrots and
run them through again for grated carrots. And cheese can be shredded twice
to get grated cheese.
Do not be concerned if bits of food remain on top of the slicing/shredding
cone after you have completed slicing or shredding. This is normal.
This slicer is not designed to shred onions or slice cheese or chocolate
This slicer is not designed to process meats or tomatoes.
To avoid personal injury or damage to the unit, do not attempt to slice foods
that are too hard to be cut with an ordinary knife.
