Risk of damage to the appliance due to improper handling.

 

− Set up the freezer in a dry room with ventilation. 

 

− The appliance is suitable for climate classes 

N, SN, ST and T

 (see type plate). A fl awless cooling 

performance of the appliance is guaranteed at ambient temperatures of between 10 and 
43 °C. The performance of the appliance may diminish at other temperatures. 

 

− Do not expose the product to extreme conditions. The following should be avoided:

 

high levels of humidity or moisture,

 

extremely high or low temperatures,

 

direct sunlight,

 

naked fl ames. 

 

− Do not set up the appliance near to heat sources such as ovens, radiators, underfloor heat-

ing, etc. 

 

− Set up the appliance on a stable, flat surface.

 

WARNING!

Risk of fi re!

Inadequate air circulation can lead to a build-up of heat.

 

− There must be a clearance of at least 70 cm above the appliance and 20 cm around the 

appliance for adequate ventilation.

 

− Do not set up the appliance near to heat sources such as ovens, radiators, underfl oor heating, 

etc. If it is impossible not to place the appliance near a heat source, use a suitable insulation 
board or adhere to the following minimum distances from the heat source:

 

Electric or gas cookers, etc.: approx. 30 cm

 

Oil-fi red or coal-fi red ranges: approx. 30 cm

 

A minimum side clearance of 30 cm is required if installed next to another cooling 
appliance. 

 

− Never cover the vents on the rear and sides of the appliance.

Mains connection

 

− Connect the appliance to a properly installed safety socket which is easily accessible and close 

to the place of installation. The local mains voltage must correspond to the technical data for 
the appliance. The socket must be freely accessible so that you can unplug the appliance from 
the mains quickly if necessary.

 

− Unwind the entire length of the mains cable from the cable holder

− Ensure the mains cable is out of harm’s way and will not trip people up. Do not allow the 

mains cable to become trapped or squashed.
