CALIBRATION OF TI-PREFORMS BLANK HOLDER

Initial calibration of the Ti-Pre-
forms blank holder 

The calibration process consists of two steps that 
must be preformed one after the other.
1. Prepare the hybrid milling machine
2. Perform the calibration of the Ti-Preforms 

blank holder

2.4.1 Preparation of the hybrid milling 

machine

To ensure correct calibration of the Ti-Preforms 
blank holder:

Carry out auto-calibration: Follow the steps in 
the Ceramill Motion 3 Service menu under 

Cali-

bration.

▷

Perform the chuck cleaning: Follow the steps in 
the Ceramill Motion 3 Service menu under 

Clean 

chuck.

NOTE: 

Insufficient milling results when using in other 
hybrid milling machines!
The blank holder is individually calibrated to the 
respective hybrid milling machine.

▷

Afterwards, do not use the holder in other 
hybrid milling machines.
