PXB Portable Parallel Straightedge Board
Alvin’s PXB boards provide the convenience of a studio work surface in a compact, portable unit. Each
PXB is made from a smooth, warp-free white Melamine
®
laminated board and is equipped with a convenient
carrying handle, non-slip tractor feet designed to grip the table edge at the perfect drawing angle, foldaway
legs, and an acrylic straightedge whose height can accommodate material thicknesses up to 3/16".
Shipped fully assembled.
Features include:
• Precision-made aluminum straightedge with rubberized grip eliminates the need for a T-square and includes
an inking edge for clean, smudge-free results with pens, pencils, and markers. Underwire system keeps the
blade parallel no matter where it is moved. Metal side brackets accommodate material thicknesses up to
3/16" beneath. Twin braking system locks blade securely in any position.
• Non-slip rubber “Grip-Track” feet on the underside of the board allow the PXB to overhang the
table edge at the perfect drawing angle bringing the work surface closer to you.
• Foldaway back legs with rubber feet are unbreakable and enable you to use the board in either the
flat or angled position.

Boards but versatile enough for any number of
other carrying functions. Roomy enough for carrying
extra project supplies and pads. Extendable length
handles serve as shoulder straps with a third handle
for extra control. Side zippers and Velcro

fasteners
at top for easy access. Constructed of durable nylon
with a 7½" x 9" outside pocket and 1½" reinforced
gusset along the bottom.

PLB
Lightweight
Parallel Straightedge Board
Alvin’s PLB boards provide all the features of the
PXB boards but in a lightweight, easy-to-carry
version. Made from lightweight LB series boards
that have unfinished wood veneer surfaces top and
bottom, aluminum side edges and hollow honeycomb
interior. Solid wood edges and center cross frames
provide strength and rigidity and are strategically
placed to support the handle and legs.

Deluxe Board with Straightedge
Durable Phenolic blade keeps parallel by gliding up and down on guide wires. Nylon bearings under
straightedge assure smooth running action. Features include an elevated acrylic inking edge for smudge-
free results, a twin braking system to lock straightedge securely in any position, rubber grip tracks that allow
board to overhang a table edge for a comfortable working angle, and foldaway legs with non-slip rubber feet.
Portable, with convenient carry handle, the 30" x 42" size includes a second handle mounted in the middle of
the back for extra convenience. Compact design is fully assembled and ready to use. VYCO VBC77 gray/white
vinyl board cover included for a soft, protective work surface. Precision made in the USA.
