Installing the ODU 

2.1.3  SU’s IDU-ODU Cables 

 

 

NOTE 

 

The length of the Indoor-to-Outdoor cable, together with the length of the Ethernet cable connecting 
the CPE-IDU-1D to the data equipment, should not exceed 100 meters. 

Use only Category 5E Ethernet cables from either Alvarion or any of the approved 
manufacturers, listed in Table 

 

2-1. Consult with Alvarion specialists on the 

suitability of other cables.
