4 CARBON FILTER REPLACEMENT
Use this method for installing an (optional) carbon filter
for the first time or when replacing a new one.
1.
Remove the aluminium grease filter and carefully
place to one side.
2.
Locate the square motor assembly casing in the
centre of the hood.
3.
The carbon filter is attached to this square motor
casing in a similar action to the aluminium grease
filter that you have just removed. Locate the bottom
of the carbon filter in the square motor casing.
Press on the finger tab to open the catch and then
carefully press it home (Fig. 6).
4.
Ensure the carbon filter is seated correctly, don’t let
it drop.
5.
Replace the aluminium grease filter.

Ensure the newly fitted carbon filter is seated
correctly. If not, it may impair use and be
ineffective.

Never wash the carbon filters.
Keep carbon filters away from children.
