12.20.1
Format hard drive will erase all recorded programs stored on the hard drive and
should only be performed if absolutely essential.
12.20.2
To format the hard drive, press the GREEN button or press OK when Format
Hard Drive is highlighted.

The following popup will be displayed

Press OK to format the hard drive.
IMPORTANT:
Chain Record must be set to
Current channel
in order to successfully chain
record a program (assuming that there are no recording conflicts during the time of recording).
Chain Record will not work if this is set to All Channels.
