13. Demontage / Entsorgung
Die Reinigung des geöffneten Gerätes ist verboten.
Staub und Schmutz vom Gerät und
Magneten vorsichtig mit einem trockenen, lösungsmittelfreien und weichen Tuch entfernen.
Kontaktsensor und Magnet demontieren und fachgerecht entsorgen.
Batterien gehören nicht in den Hausmüll. Entsorgen Sie diese in Ihrer örtlichen
Batteriesammelstelle.

10. Batteriewechsel
Eine leere Batterie wird in der b@home-App mit einem Symbol angezeigt. Öffnen Sie das
Gehäuse, indem Sie oben und unten auf die Griffflächen drücken und den Gehäusedeckel
nach vorn abziehen.

Informationen zum korrekten Einlegen der Batterie sind im Gehäusedeckel
angebracht.
Batterien gehören nicht in den Hausmüll. Entsorgen Sie diese in Ihrer örtlichen
Batteriesammelstelle.
11. Abmeldefunktion (Löschfunktion)

Vor der Montage wird die Durchführung der
Punkte 6. und 7. empfohlen.
Der Untergrund muss glatt, eben, trocken,
sauber sowie fett- und lösungsmittelfrei sein.
Entfernen Sie die Folie von den Klebestreifen und
montieren Sie den Kontaktsensor und Magneten am
Fenster. Der Magnet (3) muss an der Seite des Kon-
taktsensors montiert werden, an der sich der Reed-
konakt (2) befindet - siehe Abb. 2. Der maximale
Abstand zwischen Kontaktsensor (1) und Magnet
(3) darf bei geschlossenem Fenster 8 mm betragen.
Montieren Sie den Magneten mittig (A) und auf der
Ebene des Kontaktsensors (B) - siehe Abb. 3. Die
Montagepostion des Kontaktsensors und Magneten
ist so zu wählen, dass auch das Kippen des Fensters
sicher erkannt wird (siehe Abb. 4). Die Reichweite des
b@home-Kontaktsensors ist in starkem Maße von
den räumlichen Gegebenheiten abhängig. So wird die

Sensor anlernen) aktivieren und die Lerntaste am Kontaktsensor drücken bis
der Kontaktsensor angezeigt wird.
Für den angelernten Kontaktsensor kann in der App eingestellt werden, ob bei offenem
Fenster/Tür auf die für den Raum programmierte ECO-Temperatur abgesenkt oder die
Regelung für den Raum ausgestellt werden soll (Frostschutz 5°C aktiv).

Es können bis zu 10 Kontaktsensoren einem Raum zugeordnet werden. Ein
Kontaktsensor kann beliebig vielen Räumen zugeordnet werden.
6. Inbetriebnahme
Entfernen Sie den Isolierstreifen der Batterie. Die LED leuchtet für ca. 3 Sekunden grün und die
Lernfunktion kann im Anschluss durchgeführt werden.

Before mounting, we would recom-
mend carrying out Items 6. and 7.
The base must be smooth, level, dry,
clean and free of grease and solvent.
Remove the film from the adhesive strips
and fit the contact sensor and magnet on
the window. The magnet (3) must be fitted
on the side of the contact sensor where
the Reed contact (2) is located - see Fig.
2. The maximum distance between contact
sensor (1) and magnet (3) with window shut
is 8 mm. Fit the magnet centrally (A) and
at the level of the contact sensor (B) - see
Fig. 3. The mounting position of the contact
sensor and magnet should be selected
such that tilting of the window is also reliably
detected (see Fig. 4). The range of the b@
home contact sensor is highly dependent on
spatial circumstances. For example, the range is reduced by reinforced walls, ceilings, metal

7. Training function
The contact sensor can be assigned to the corresponding room in the b@home system using
the training function. To do this, activate the training function in the app (Select room
→
Devices
→
Train sensor) or activate configuration page of b@home gate (Set up rooms
→
Select room
→
Train sensor) and press the training button on the contact sensor until the
contact sensor is displayed.
For the trained contact sensor, the app can be used to set whether the temperature is to be
reduced to the ECO temperature programmed for the room or the control is to be switched off
for the room (5°C frost protection active) when a window/door is open.

Up to 10 contact sensors can be assigned to one room. A contact sensor can be
assigned to any number of rooms.
6. Start-up
Remove insulation strip from battery. The LED lights up green for approx. 3 seconds and the
training function can be then run.
8. Mounting
We determined the technical data provided in an inspection and test environment suited to
this task (we are happy to provide details on request) and this data only presents the agreed
properties on this basis. The purchaser / customer is responsible for checking the suitability of
the use or usage intended by the purchaser / customer under the specific conditions of use;
we do not accept any liability for this. We reserve the right to amendments.

Removal / disposal
The opened device must not be cleaned.
Carefully remove dust and dirt from the
device and magnets using a dry, solvent-free and soft cloth.
Remove contact sensor and magnet and dispose of correctly.
Do not dispose of batteries along with domestic waste. Take them to your local batte-
ry collection point.

Battery changes
A flat battery is indicated in the b@home app using a symbol. Open the housing by pressing on
the grip areas at the top and bottom and pulling the housing cover forwards and off.

Do not dispose of batteries along with domestic waste. Take them to your local
battery collection point.

Cancel function (delete function)
A contact sensor trained in the b@home system can be deleted using the cancel function. To
do this, activate the cancel function in the app (Select room
→
Devices
→
Cancel sensor)
or activate configuration page of b@home gate (Set up rooms

sensor) and press the training button on the contact sensor until the contact sensor is no
longer displayed.
Contact sensors no longer working can be deleted by selecting them directly from the
configuration interface of the b@home gate.

Function check
After fitting, open the window

the LED briefly lights up green and “Window open” symbol
appears in the b@home app. Close the window
→
the LED briefly flashes green and “Window
open” symbol is no longer displayed.
If the LED briefly turns red after opening/closing the window, the radio connection to the b@
home gate is interrupted. You will find information about the optimum positions for b@home

If the LED does not light up after opening/closing the window, check that the contact sensor/
magnet is correctly mounted (see Item 8.) and whether the battery has been correctly inserted
and is not flat (see Item 10.).
