Controlling CD Changer (Optional)

If an optional Alpine 6-disc CD Changer (M-Bus)
is connected to the 8-pin DIN connector of the
TDM-9505RB/TDM-9503R/TDM-9501RM/TDM-
9501R you can control the CD Changer using the
TDM-9505RB/TDM-9503R/TDM-9501RM/TDM-
9501R.

NOTE

The CD controls on the TDM-9505RB/TDM-9503R/TDM-
9501RM/TDM-9501R for the CD operation are functional
only when the CD Changer is interconnected with the
TDM-9505RB/TDM-9503R/TDM-9501RM/TDM-9501R.

Press the SOURCE button to activate the CD
Changer.
The display shows the disc number and track
number.

Make sure that the Function indicator illuminates,
then press the Preset buttons to select the
desired disc loaded in the CD Changer.

To pause playback, press the 

-

/

J

 button.

Pressing the 

-

/

J

 button again will resume

playback.

NOTES

If the "F" indicator is illuminated the Disc Select
buttons become nonfunctional.

Press the SOURCE button to activate the CHANGER
mode.

Preset buttons

Music Sensor (M.S.) Skip

Press the 

g

 button once to return to the

beginning of the current track.
If you wish to return to the beginning of a track
further back, repeatedly press until you reach the
desired track.

Press the 

f

 button once to advance to the

beginning of the next track.
If you wish to advance to a track further ahead,
press repeatedly until the desired track is
reached.

NOTE

The music sensor feature is functional in the play or
pause mode.

Fast Forward and Backward

Press and hold the 

g

 or 

f

 button to quickly

move backward or forward respectively until you
reach the desired portion.

NOTE

This feature works only in the CD playback mode.
